Why I Read

I don’t read to finish books.

I read because every now and then, a book changes the way I see the world.

Most books entertain us for a while. A few stay with us. They quietly shape the questions we ask, the conversations we have, and the way we notice ordinary life.

This page isn’t about reviews or ratings.

It’s a collection of books that leave something behind—an idea, a perspective, or a question worth carrying a little farther.

If a book finds its way here, it’s because it stayed with me long after I turned the last page.
